Rick Piña is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Inspired Solutions, where he leverages over 25 years of leadership and technology expertise to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth. Rick oversees daily operations, aligning departments with strategic goals while promoting a culture of excellence and innovation. As CRO, he spearheads sales and marketing initiatives, identifies new business opportunities, and represents the company at industry events. His focus is on bridging operational performance with business growth to propel Inspired Solutions forward.
Rick began his career with a distinguished 25-year service in the United States Army, culminating as the Army's first Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at the Pentagon. Following his military retirement, he joined World Wide Technology (WWT), serving in various roles, including Chief Technology Advisor for the Public Sector and AVP of Advisory Services. At WWT, he led teams providing consultation on data strategies, AI/ML platforms, 5G/IoT deployments, and multi-cloud architectures. Rick also championed diversity and inclusion as the head of WWT’s global Hispanic/Latinx Employee Resource Group.
Recognized by FedScoop as one of the Best Bosses in Federal IT and by HITEC as one of the 100 most influential Hispanic leaders in technology, Rick continues to make an impact through his leadership and dedication to excellence.
Rick serves on the Salvation Army National Advisory Board and the Board of Conectado, contributing his expertise to initiatives that promote social impact, diversity, and community development.
In addition to his corporate achievements, Rick and his wife Isabella lead Rick and Isabella Piña Ministries, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering underprivileged communities, especially in the Caribbean. Together, they founded Grace Destiny Church and Grace Destiny Academy in the Dominican Republic, providing education and resources to over 200 disadvantaged children.
Rick holds an M.B.A. and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Trident University. He is a Distinguished Member of the U.S. Army Signal Regiment and a recipient of the Signal Corps Regimental Association's Silver Order of Mercury award. Rick's career reflects a passion for service, technology, and making a difference in the lives of others.
